What a great variety of Old Time music! So many great musicians on this CD some new to me, some “old friends”. Nice variety of styles and sounds. Thanks for such a thoughtful collection, I’ll never tire of listening to these songs.
Old-Time Sweethearts (2 Volume Set) is an exciting and diverse collection of music from couples steeped in the genre whose unique collaborations come from years of making music together. Featuring renowned, old-time musicians from across the United States, this two-volume set reveals an array of tradition-inspired music made with love. Each volume in this collection includes a baker’s dozen of tunes and songs.
This entire project was made during the pandemic and it supports traditional artists. Thank you. If you need a little old-time-music-love right now you'll find it on Old-Time Sweethearts!

This rendition of Virgil Anderson's "Jenny Hang the Kettle On" is wonderful. It perfectly grabs the simplistic beauty of Virgil's version, but has such clarity. Amazing album! Payton Scott

Ken Landreth is one of my favorite banjo players of all time. This whole album is amazing! Makes me miss those hot sunny days in the Mt. Airy flatlands watching these guys shred. altacke
